Excellent Value - We had booked a double room as we were attending a funeral in Dunoon. I had phoned in advanced to see about early check in for 2pm, the person who answered the phone advised they would need to check with a manager and would get back to me. They phoned me back and said this was confirmed. I arrived at the hotel for 2pm and the person on reception said that the early check in wasn't guaranteed unless available and the room was paid for in advance. None of this was advised in advance. Better communication is needed with regard to this. That aside, the cleanliness of the room was very impressive. The bed was really comfortable as were the pillows, the room was a great size. The bathroom, yes a bit dated but the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The breakfast and the breakfast staff were really fantastic. Overall for the price, this is brilliant.

Lovely Experience - We found the staff at the hotel all lovely and welcoming. The cleanliness and decoration of the hotel was good, the only niggle was the bathroom light was very dim to be able to use the mirror. The breakfast was presented well and good quality ingredients. If we are back in the area we would stay again.

Very comfortable stay - I booked a room for my parents after high winds left them without electricity, and we were so grateful the hotel had availability. The staff kindly got their room ready early so they could check in ahead of time, which was much appreciated.Their room was clean, warm and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Although dinner wasn’t available that evening, they provided local takeaway menus, which was really helpful. My parents also said breakfast was very tasty!Thank you for looking after them so well and making a stressful situation that bit easier.
